About the Story

Five years ago, ninety-nine percent of humanity vanished.

Now traveling through a landscape both wounded and watchful, Eve joins three women whose abilities have awakened in the aftermath — a beastmaster who can communicate with animals, a dreamseer who walks through truths before they unfold, and a healer whose touch restores more than flesh — who can discern what nourishes the body and what it rejects.
